Summer Sangria-Cheers!

The beauty of this Sangria recipe is that it is as delicious as it is easy and only gets better as you spice it up with your additions. It’s hard to add the “wrong” ingredient here; think about your favorite fruits, spices, and liquors. Chill and relax. Cheers!

Ingredients

Scale

1 bottle of red wine ( Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Rioja, Zinfandel, Shiraz)

1 lemon cut into wedges

1 orange cut into  wedges

2 T sugar or agave nectar

1 shot of brandy

2 cups of club soda or ginger ale.

Instructions

Pour your wine into the pitcher and squeeze the juice wedges from the lemon and orange into the wine. Toss in the wedges too. Add your sweetener and brandy. Chill overnight. Add club soda or ginger ale just before serving.
