Spring is my favorite season for several reasons:
Warmer weather:
After a long, cold winter, the warmer weather that comes with spring is often welcomed with open arms. The feeling of the sun on your skin and the ability to spend more time outside is rejuvenating.
Blooming flowers:
Spring is when flowers bloom, adding pops of color to the previously drab landscape. The sight of blossoming trees and colorful flowers can lift one’s spirits. Nothing beats the color of spring flowers.
Longer days:
As the days get longer in spring, people have more time to spend outside, enjoying the warmer weather and all that nature has to offer.
Fresh air:
Spring is when the air feels fresher and cleaner, making it an ideal season for outdoor activities; go for a walk around 7:00 pm, and watch a beautiful spring sunset.
Renewal:
Spring is a symbol of renewal and growth. It’s a time when plants and trees come back to life after the winter months, which can be a metaphor for personal growth and renewal in our lives. I use this time to try several new 30-day challenges, take a walk with my family after dinner, and plant a spring herb garden.
Spring is a time of hope and new beginnings, and it’s easy to see why so many people find it wonderful.
Celebrate spring by:
Bring some fresh flowers or greenery inside:
Spring is a great time to bring fresh flowers or greenery into your home. Not only will they add a pop of color to your space, but they can also help to boost your mood and improve air quality.
Spend time outside:
Spring is the perfect time to enjoy the outdoors. Whether going for a walk in the park, having a picnic, or simply sitting outside with a good book, spending time in nature can help you feel more relaxed and rejuvenated.
Light some candles:
Candles are a great way to add warmth and coziness to your home. Try lighting some scented candles with fresh, floral scents to help you get into the springtime spirit.
Cook some comfort food:
Comfort food doesn’t have to be limited to the winter months. Spring is a great time to try out some new comforting and fresh recipes. Think soups, stews, and roasted vegetables with herbs.
Host a spring gathering:
Invite some friends over for a springtime gathering. You can serve light refreshments, play games, and enjoy each other’s company in a cozy and relaxed atmosphere.
Get cozy in comfortable clothing:
Soft, comfortable clothing can help you feel more relaxed and cozy. Try wearing some soft cotton or linen fabrics in light springtime colors.
Practice mindfulness:
Take some time each day to practice mindfulness. Whether through meditation, journaling, or simply taking a few deep breaths, mindfulness can help you feel more present and relaxed during the busy spring season.
Yes, to spring!
