Mindful Walking

Walking meditation is a simple way to connect with your spirit and mother nature in a very grounded way.

It’s easy to get caught up in our busy lives and forget how simple it can be to slow down and enjoy the world around us.

The average person walks less than 3,000 steps a day, but that doesn’t mean we have to make ourselves feel bad about it!

There are plenty of ways to get more movement into your life, no matter your schedule. For example, walking a few blocks daily can benefit from increased fitness, reduced stress levels, and fewer aches and pains.

And guess what? Taking those few blocks at a time increases your health and allows you to connect with the earth beneath your feet. When we walk mindfully — focusing on our breath rather than our thoughts — we become more aware of where we are in our bodies and start to notice how connected we are with everything around us.

The world doesn’t have to be so complicated! Try taking some time out of each day for mindful walking — even if it’s just for 5 minutes — and see how much better you feel!
