Live stress free, that is. Stress causes a multitude of problems, from digestive upset to muscle tension to cardiac problems. Constant stress causes an unhealthy level of the stress hormone to be released into your body. While having this happen occasionally is not a major problem, frequent episodes of stress can cause headaches, back pain and fatigue. Stress can raise your blood pressure, which can increase your risk of stroke and heart attack. If you are asthmatic, stress can bring on an asthma attack and make it considerably more difficult to treat.
Here are some ways to reduce your stress:
1. Act like a kid. Its fun to be silly, try it..like right now, it will make you laugh.
2.Meditate. Yes, this really works, sit comfortable, sit up straight, close your eyes and think of your happiest moment in your life. Feel how happy you are, feel the sun shining on your shoulders.
3. Breathe. Take 5 deep belly breaths. Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth.
4. Call a friend.
5. Massage.
6. Drink a cup of green tea.
7. Draw a picture, you don’t have to be a good artist- just draw, take out your frustration on a canvas.
8. Read poetry.
9. Go outside and breathe fresh air…walk.
10. Pray.
