Immunity Detox Tea

I make this tea anytime my body needs a little help, whether I feel a cold coming on, have allergies, or just feel lethargic.

The best part about this tea is it will work while you sleep, detoxifying you, strengthening your immunity, and leaving you with a healthy glow.

Ingredients

Scale

1 T  fresh ginger

1 cup of water

lemon slice

cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Peel and chop fresh, organic ginger into chunks, making about one tablespoon per cup of hot water. Place in the bottom of the mug.
  2. Heat water to a near boil and allow to cool for just a moment.
  3. Pour hot water over ginger pieces, allowing them to steep for approximately two minutes or a little longer.
  4. Cut a lemon in half. When the mug has cooled to a point, you can sip the tea, and squeeze ½ lemon into the mug.
  5. Add a dash of cayenne – one or two shakes from the shaker.
  6. Mix and drink!
