Homemade Blackened Seasoning

Homemade is so much better than store-bought. You know what you are eating. Here is my recipe for Blackened Seasoning. You can use this on fish, chicken, even potatoes, anything you won’t a little “kick” of spice.

Ingredients

Scale

1 T paprika

2 teaspoons salt

1 heaping teaspoon garlic powder

1 heaping teaspoon onion powder

1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper

2 teaspoons black pepper

1/2 teaspoon leaf thyme

1/2 teaspoon leaf oregano

Instructions

 

Mix the ingredients well and funnel them into a shaker. Seal well and store in a cool, dry place.
