Garlicky Grilled Shrimp

Ingredients

1 1/2 pound extra-large shrimp (21 to 25 per pound); it is easier if the shrimp is peeled, deveined, tails are left on.

1/2 tsp salt

4 Tablespoons of unsalted butter

1 tablespoon honey

7 garlic cloves, minced

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

Lemon wedges

Instructions

Toss the shrimp and salt together in a bowl; set aside.

Combine butter and honey in a small bowl. Cover and microwave until butter is melted, 30 to 60 seconds. Add garlic and pepper flakes and stir to combine.

Let cool and heat up the grill to medium heat.

Spread shrimp out on a plate and pat dry with paper towels. Return to bowl and pour utter mixture over shrimp. Toss until shrimp are thoroughly coated.

Plae shrimp in a grill basket.

Grill shrimp until they are opaque throughout and beginning to lightly char in spots, about 5 minutes.

Transfer shrimp to serving platter and serve.

Pass lemon wedges.
