Green is good. There is a saying, “if you eat green, your body is clean!” Well, even Dr. Oz says that to ensure a healthy diet, we should eat green at every meal. I find the best way to get kids to eat green at breakfast is to make a mean green smoothie.
This smoothie is so good and so healthy for you. This recipe can be used for breakfast, lunch, a snack, or dessert.

Ingredients
1 large orange, peeled and segmented
1/2 of a large banana, cut into chunks
6 large strawberries
2 cups spinach
1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt (I use Chobani 0%)
1 cup ice
Instructions
1. Put all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.
Note-I use a Vitamix Blender, which is a very powerful machine. Make sure you use a powerful blender to blrnf the orange, spinach, ice, etc. I like to store one serving of the smoothie in the freezer for later. Pour into an air-tight container and freeze. Make sure you take the smoothie out of the freezer about 30 minutes before you want to drink it. You can also store the smoothie in the refrigerator.
