There are only two must-have components: toasted bread and sliced or mashed avocados. From here, you can keep it simple with seasonings or get more creative with various toppings. Ingredients

Avocado

Your favorite type of bread, we love a good whole grain or sourdough bread

Chopped garlic (Optional, but we love the kick and the health benefits of garlic)

Feta cheese, as much or little as you like

Sriracha

A touch of salt and pepper

Bonus: We also love Spiceology Guac and Roll seasoning

Instructions

  1. Toast your bread
  2. Optional: While bread is toasting, chop 1-2 cloves of garlic (depending on how much of a garlic fanatic you are!)
  3. Scoop out both sides of the avocado flesh, slice or mash
  4. Add your avocado on top of your toasted bread
  5. Season with salt and pepper
  6. Optional: Add your Spiceology Guac and Roll seasoning
  7. Drizzle with sriracha
  8. Add crumbled feta cheese on top (Tip: We buy the feta cheese crumbles, but sometimes the crumbles are large – this is where we choose to crumble those pieces a bit more)
  9. Add your chopped garlic on top for a bit of a kick and bonus health benefits!

Notes

Sliced Avocado vs Mashed Avocado

When you think of traditional avocado toast, you probably envision mashed avocado. While both techniques have their own benefits, for this specific recipe we tend to do sliced avocado for presentation and texture purposes.
